The Great Book of World War II Airplanes

"The Great Book of World War II Airplanes" is a magnificent book collecting together information on twelve of the fighter aircraft that were active participants in the Second World War and packed with full-color illustrations by Rikyu Watanabe. In a single volume, this work brings together the contents of an earlier series of books introducing each of these twelve fighters in its own individual volume, which were originally published between 1980 and 1983.

Thanks to the combination of the huge number of pages, massive binding, dynamic gatefolds, beautiful coloring accomplished using special colored inks including silver, detailed full-color illustrations, and excellent expository writing, "The Great Book of World War II Airplanes" has won enthusiastic support from across a broad spectrum of aircraft enthusiasts, beginning of course with fighter plane fans. In addition, this book has been highly evaluated as a historical document and has continued to enchant its readers for over a quarter of a century since its publication in 1984.

This application is produced and sold by Headway Inc. with the express permission from Zokeisha Publications Ltd., the owner of the copyright of the original book "The Great Book of World War II Airplanes".

Continuing from the Zero fighter, which is the first plane in this series, we are planning to release applications featuring a total of twelve fighter planes taken from The Great Book of World War II Airplanes including the Spitfire, P-15 Mustang, Messerschmitt Bf109, etc.

In this application, some parts of the contents of the original book have been omitted.
